Le Occare is a little and comfortable, luxury furnished, four
tables restaurant, in the surroundings of Ferrara, Emilia
Romagna. The restaurant is located in an ancient farmhouse, dating back
to the end of the eighteenth century, fully immersed in the green and
surrounded by a fenced park with a little swimming pool, a 38000 square
meters wooden area and the crops of the farm.
In a quiet and pleasant setting we take care of our guests and serve our fancy seasonal recipes, inspired to the flavours of the region. We use natural products of the farm and the wood, including mushrooms and truffles, for a creative rediscovery of old flavours. We serve traditional recipes of our territory, like the ancient "Pasticcio di Maccheroni alla Ferrarese", a very special Maccheroni Pie with truffles, dating back to the sixteenth century, from the Este court. The cooking is made in the original hand made tin-plated copper dish following the ancient recipe.
