An ancient Farmhouse in the countryside of Ferrara

Guesthouse Le Occare is a a little restaurant and a guest house, fully immersed in the  green, in a very quiet location in the countryside of Ferrara. The guesthouse has been established in an old country house, dating back to the 18th century, and retains all the charm of the ancient country buildings.
The old farmhouse, situated at the core of a 64 hectares farm, is surrounded by a 30000 square meters wooden area, strongly populated by birds, and by a fenced park. The guesthouse is also provided with a little private swimming pool.
The main building has been fully restored, taking great care of the original architecture and of the surrounding environment.

Located in the near countryside of Ferrara, Guesthouse Le Occare is a pleasant little restaurant dedicated to regional recipes and principally focused on the products of the farm and of the surrounding territories. An ancient firewood oven allow us to serve home made traditional Ferrara bread in the shape it was produced two centuries ago.
Le Occare farmhouse is also a cosy, full comfort, three rooms guest house, in a very quiet location.
Even if it is only 15.5 miles (25 km) away from the centre of Ferrara, Guesthouse Le Occare is fully secluded from the noises and the traffic, in a very relaxing surrounding, far from the main roads.
Because of its location, in the quiet of the countryside, but still near to the main tourist attractions of Ferrara, Guesthouse Le Occare is a very good starting point to visit the nearby areas of naturalistic and artistic interest, like the Delta del Po natural reserve,  the Belriguardo and Verginese castles and the magnificent medieval city of Ferrara, UNESCO world heritage city.
